All About The Brushed Buckeye

Hi, friend! I'm so excited you're here. My name is Allison Longsdorf, and I am the owner of The Brushed Buckeye. I am currently a hairstylist by trade but ever since I was little, I've always had a love for anything arts and crafts related. In 2018, I started to practice calligraphy, and I realized quickly that it was a true passion of mine. I started making small signs for family, co-workers, and friends, and realized that I wanted to make it a life-long career. I made all of the signs for my wedding in 2021, and knew I wanted to grow a business out of it. In October of 2022, I placed 2nd in a business competition, and that has given me the push I needed to start this business.

I live in Cardington, Ohio with my husband, Stephen, and our cat, Roxy. A few things I love other than calligraphy are coffee, rock music, and a good romance novel.
